Newcastle University was first set up in October 2017. They have enjoyed a highly successful first year, finishing runners up at the BUCS National Plate and winning the Stan Calvert Varsity match against their rivals Northumbria Uni.

Don't let this fool you though, they cater for a wide range of abilities and are always looking to recruit people regardless of experience as long as you are willing to learn and give it a go. They run two teams currently in the NEKA league and train on Sunday afternoons 4-6:30pm. If you are looking to push yourself a bit more they also run a first team session for more experienced players on a Saturday afternoon 5-6pm. As well as training they also run regular social events throughout the year to make you feel at home.

They train at the Newcastle University Sports Centre which can be found on Richardson Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 7RU. Membership fees are currently set at £30 for the year as a one off fee and you will also require a uni gym membership which costs £66 for the year.
