NEKA Statement on COVID-19

Following today’s new government advice, NEKA have decided to immediately suspend ALL korfball activity in the North East until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but it is taken with the best interest of all members.

In addition to this, all remaining fixtures in NEKL 2019/20 will be cancelled and all fixtures awarded a 10-10 draw as outlined in Saturday’s statement. Northern Storm 1 are therefore crowned NEKL champions and receive the NEKA nomination for NRL play-offs.
